Now

I'm building a journaling app that helps people notice the patterns in their lives and reflect on them through astrological and psychological themes. It grows out of over a decade of studying astrology as a language for self-inquiry. The app is in early development.

Behind
the stage

From 2018 to 2022 I worked as personal manager and producer for choreographer Bosmat Nossan, producing performances and dance films in Israel and abroad. I also produced the national "Life in Movement" program for the Choreographers' Association and Mifal HaPais, and worked on festivals including the Jerusalem International Solo Dance Festival and Diver Festival. I was a founding member of Tzafrir Lichtenstein's Be-team, a youth orchestra in Giv'atayim where young people with and without special needs perform together, working with its vocalists.

About

Noa grew up in Haifa, the daughter of a dancer and a detective, in an all-redhead family with two sisters. With her mother she would watch how people walk and carry themselves; her father taught her to pay attention to the details others miss. She studied theater, then jazz and vocal technique in Paris, and spent nearly ten years in New York as a vocalist and performance artist.

Back in Israel she moved behind the stage, producing dance performances and films, and later led operations and programs at tech companies. Today she brings these worlds together in a journaling app about the patterns we live by.

She lives in Israel with her husband Guy, her best friend, and their son, her greatest joy.

More about Noa

A contributor to early J.Views recordings and lead vocalist for its live project, she performed at festivals and venues around the world, including New York’s Blue Note, Highline Ballroom, and Webster Hall.

Her work also reaches into dance and performance art, from singing with dance group Gallim at Lincoln Center Plaza to performing with Tamar Ettun’s The Moving Company and in choreographer Bosmat Nossan’s Watsda?

In New York, she joined the Bushwick arts collective The Hive alongside artist Yula Be’ery, taking part in music, performance, art, and fashion projects.

In Watsda?, she combined singing and movement with a live soundtrack built from ambient sounds and recordings. Her stage work has also included performances with the Revolution Orchestra at the Israeli Opera.
